Lightweight floating search orb

Description

This design breaks the mold for search entry points. It appears as a circular floating button—featuring a built-in magnifying glass icon—positioned in the bottom-right or bottom-left corner of the page. When a user hovers over or clicks the button, it elegantly expands or pops out into a full search input field. Independent of the main page navigation structure, this design offers users a convenient, always-accessible search option.

We provide the floating orb in various sizes with adjustable shadow depths, ensuring it stands out on the page without being overly intrusive. The orb’s color is customizable, supporting either solid fills or subtle gradients. The search box features smooth transition animations upon expansion and automatically adjusts its position to avoid obscuring critical page content.

The delivery package includes the complete code required to implement the floating positioning and the expand/collapse interaction.
